Acne.

Folliculitis is an inflammation of the follicular orifice and its periphery, caused by a bacterial infection. It forms abruptly, with pain and itching sensation and secretion in small amounts. When the infection spreads around it, it penetrates deep into the skin and becomes boil (furuncle). It causes symptoms such as redness, swelling, heat, pain, etc. Usually, it suppurates by itself, but in some cases, it needs to be opened surgically.

Herbs used to treat acne.

We can use Aloe Vera gel, which is considered a natural antibiotic for the skin, due to its antiseptic properties deriving from its content of saponins and terpenic glycosides. Other ingredients that can be used in the herbal mixture are Lemon Juice for its astringent ability, Sage and Red Clover. Essential oil extracted from the Tea tree is also often used for its antiseptic properties.

Psoriasis.

Chronic inflammatory skin disease that causes scaly reddish plaques normally distributed symmetrically over knees, elbows and scalp, but it can occur in every part of the skin.

It is not contagious; it can actually be considered a dysfunction of cell reproduction. Usually, normal skin takes 28-30 days to produce new cells and lose the old ones. Psoriasis makes the immune system hyperactive, and it results in inflammation of the skin, due to a cell exchange that increases its speed up to 3/4 days, so that the new cells add to the old ones, forming crusts, redness, itching, plaques or desquamation.
